The forms of Mirrortac
When I penned my vision of Mirrortac, I had my own mind-image of how he looked, but that did not mean that it had to be a static image of how he must appear to the reader. When I read The Lord of the Rings, I had a different image in mind for gollum than how he is represented in the latest film version. It didn’t spoil my enjoyment of the film series, which I felt was a reasonably faithful interpretation. Irish graphic artist Michael Lenehan has created two covers for my fantasy series The Nine Worlds of Mirrortac as well as a short trailer for the second book Three Stones of Destiny. He loves to experiment with graphic software, and has recently created a 3D version of Mirrortac using a software program called Modo. Aside from Michael’s excellent work, I have also had the pleasure of a local graphic artist, Heidi Counsell, design the print cover for my first book The Wizard’s Sword. And my daughter Jemimah created a manga version of Mirrortac for me. You will find all these under the Art menu of this blog.
