Hi friends. I realise that you would need to hunt through years of blog posts to find any art pieces I or others have done to illustrate/inspire my Nine Worlds of Mirrortac series, which comprises THE WIZARD’S SWORD, THREE STONES OF DESTINY and THE GOLD SARCOPHAGUS (to come). Therefore, I will hunt up all the bits of art and place them in links under this page, so it is easy to check them out. While writing the first and part of the second books, I did crude drawings of characters, creatures and ‘worlds’ to assist my in my writing. Often, I would refer to the art pieces during writing, and that helped me maintain the imaginative vision I have of the places and characters that make up this series. I have also had the assistance of some really talented people for cover art and the like. These people include Heidi Counsel who is a graphic artist living in Mackay on the central-north Queensland coast of Australia (and where I also live). She did the cover art for the American print edition of The Wizard’s Sword, and I used another of her versions for the Smashwords ebook edition of the same book. Irish artist Michael Lenehan was commissioned to do the cover art for the second book Three Stones of Destiny for both the print and ebook editions published through West Australian POD publisher Equilibrium Books with the ebook imprint on Amazon Kindle. Michael also did the cover art for The Wizard’s Sword Kindle Direct edition that I uploaded to Amazon Kindle. My daughter Jemimah, who is a fan of the Japanese Manga (pron. Mun-ga) and Anime (pron. En-ee-may) comic art, also tranformed my main character Mirrortac into a Manga version.
